Had the good fortune to have the car checked on a Snap-On tester and all readings were normal. The mechanic seemed to know what he was doing(I didn't have a clue) He said there were no error codes and everything with the electronics was fine. He suggested to try changing spark plug wires--they are ac delco--no telling how old--and go from there. The car ran badly all morning but ok for a couple of hours this afternoon. Anyone got any suggestions? Tommy

Be more specific as to when it is bucking? underload, at idle, all the time?

My car was bucking underload it would pull hard then fall on its face, and pull hard ect..... It happened so fast that the car would be rocking front to back as it went down the street.

My scan tool was reading real lean, then then normal, and that corresponded with the bucking.

I cleaned the engine grounds on the back of the head, and that seemed to solve the problem.

I had no error codes.

If you can be more specific when it happens someone can help narrow it down.

I did a search when my car had this problem and some of the things I found that could be at fault were the maf, the ingition, the engine grounds, the vaccume hoses to the wastegate actuatior. I am sure there are more.
