Engine Mount Question

Hello,

Pulled the motor a while back. Have noticed something about the mating parts of the engine mounts that are bolted to the frame. The holes are more like slots than holes. Not big ones, but more than a perfect circle. Is this normal?

That's normal. Mine are the same.
