Glad to hear you got the temp under control. Tell us how it feels when you get through driving it. Maybe you can do a 4 wheel burnout for some fun. lol

No burnouts with these tyres @ $380 each...lol

I did a test drive today. Didnt get any Vid and only a couple of dodgy pics. Did about 200ks and 90 of that was in 4wd. Not a single fault other than at 100km/hr or more up hill sends the temp soaring.

Pretty country. Kinda reminds me of some areas here in Texas. What temp thermo are you running? You may need a cooler one if it's available.

sweet ride man, and as Charlief1 said, beautiful country side there!! The under hood temp probably gets CRAZY when in 4wd going up hill!! I too agree, a different temp thermostat might benefit you if you have a stock 180-190 in there. But most likely, your going to need a very efficient radiator (BIGGER!!!) that would be best. I know you already have a hard time fitting one, maybe you could put a big a$$ one relocated somewhere else like an off road baja truck. In the back

Hi, yeah I just fitted a much larger radiator and relocated the thermo fan and the intercooler, plus added a external oil cooler. Thats pretty much sorted the temp issues.

My next issue is a pinging noise coming from the bell house area when under load. Do you guys run different flex plates and converters to standard? do you think the flex plate might be hitting the block? thats the only thing I can think of that would make that noise.

Thanks again for the feedback.

Check the flexplate bolts so one isnt coming loose & check it for cracks at the same time. Under load you could have one of these issues?

I like the cooler but you might want to add some sort of water mist to the scoop and use a switch so when you go WOT you get some more cooling. Something like the WRX Sti has but only a switch on the throttle for operation. That would really keep it cool for sure.

Had the flex plate off today. Nothing wrong with it. Checked everything. Still sounds like a rock in the bellhousing under load. grrrrr Im so over this crap.

Been thinking about it and the only other 2 options I can think of are a cracked bellhousing on the tranny or maybe your thrust limits are way off on the crank. Hope this helps.
