At idle it is smooth but as soon as I raise the rmp's the engine starts to vibrate up to about 3,000 rpm then smooths out. When I replaced my stock D5 converter with a PTC 10" 3,000 stall lockup unit I had to drill one of the holes slightly bigger on the stock fly wheel so the bolt would fit through it to bolt up the converter. Would this be the cause of my vibration ? Thanks, Kyle.

You can't just drill 1 hole, you need to drill all of them. I'd almost bet that the 1 oversized hole is throwing the balance off.

My aftermarket flexplate had two holes that were the proper size, and one was smaller. I had to open up the one hole so that the bolt could fit through. My engine balance is fine. It would take more than a few grams to throw the weight off to the point of feeling a vibration.

check your bellhousing run out. mine did something simular, and it turned out to be a worn bellhousing pins.
