My car suddenly developed a bad skip six months ago while pulling out of the neighborhood. I parked the car until recently while I have time to check it out. New battery, swapped chips, swapped plug wires, inspected plugs. Still missing badly. I pulled the cam sensor and swapped out with a brand new one. NO start condition. Old sensor looks fine. Pulled valve cover , pulled number one plug, rolled engine up to TDC "0" mark on plastic indicator, reinstalled old and / or new cam sensor with window facing 4 O clock position (drivers side) several times. Put everything back together , still no start. Engine rolls over with maybe one back fire but that is it. Now I can't even get to the Bad Miss Issue. Need help.

Check out www.vortexbuicks-etc.com It will be a great aid for troubleshooting. You may have created multiple problems unintentionally. Assuming you ment the 25* reminder by Ktbregal, as "0". Have you verified both spark and fuel are present?

Great Info www.vortexbuicks-etc.com. Thanks for the tip. I have been out of touch with the GN / TB world for a while. I plan to get things back in shape. My last engine rebuild has less than 500 miles on it where I installed the CC roller set up and never could get it quieted down (Lifters) . Any way I will do more troubleshooting tomorrow. I still have that need for speed but I just a couple of years behind you guys.

CAM Sensor was 180 out. Also had to turn it just a bit. Got it started.
Also replaced coil pack and ignition module along with new plugs, wires, and battery. The car idles great. Roller Cam and Comp. Lifters still go clackity clack. Car seems to be a little rich but it runs like a bat out of hell . I parked the car almost two years ago thinking that it may have had a blown head gasket (Not True). Must have been ignition skipping. These cars are just simply Bad Ass. I still have not hit WOT or more than 17 lb boost and can not hold it in one lane. I had just forgotten the torque were making. I road in a modified Jeep Cherokee SRT last week and was impressed but not any more. Our cars are BAD!!!! I have still got to tune further. Nice to be back.
