I know some people have mixed feelings about BOVs but I'm pretty sold on having one. Anyways, I got a friend with an EVO BOV for sale. I'm looking for info on how to: install one and if you have to adjust it? The guys had both steal and Aluminum flanges and I'm guessing I weld one to the up pipe? After that I get a little foggy on what to do?

Make sure you can plumb the air back into the MAF pipe. If not the BOV won't work well and can cause idle issues.
Is this OEM or an aftermarket BOV? OEMs usually are not adjustable. The EVO runs healthy boost, so this should work well on your car.
Once you have the BOV installed in the pipes, simply connect a vacuum hose to the evap. cannister hose, before the check valve. That's it.

The BOV is a stock part off an EVO. The guy removed it for a different BOV. I was thinking of sticking it on the up pipe and then plumb it back to the airfilter side of the MAF sensor? Will that work or does it need to be behind the sensor? Anyhow, my car is set at 15psi but will probaly be around 18psi for street set up. Will this BOV work on this or will I need an adjustable BOV? Also I plan on running 23psi everyonce and a while at the track. Will I need a different BOV for this or will the stock EVO one work?

Mount the return behind the sensor. You don't want to read the same air twice. The adjustment has to do with when the valve opens, not how much boost you run. We run a similar set-up on some Buicks here, and have had no problems. It's a plastic valve with a 1" inlet/outlet. We usually install it in the intercooler pipe (after the FM intercooler) and return it to the MAF pipe. It works well for reducing your turbo chatter and smoothing out your "off throttle" stumble.

So I'm guessing it's a change in pressure that effects when it opens or is it a vaccum change?

Yes. The difference is made when the throttlebody closes.
