Exhaust or dump?

I'm sure this has been asked a thousand times so here goes 1001. I have a full 3 inch exhaust with ultraflows. Would there be any benefits from opening my dump pipe at the track? My only reason for wanting to use it would be that it seems to get rid of the exhaust heat pretty fast.

With the turbo you currently have, there should be no gain at all. When I changed to my 3" single shot with a Magnaflow my exhaust dump did very little with my combo. I actually took it off recently as I was tired of hitting my head on it....lol
