Left bank exhaust pipe connects to the right bank (cross over pipe). Should there be an exhaust clamp at that union? Drove car for the first time ever tonight and that union slipped apart @ 3/4 throttle. (Boost was non-existent once they came apart.) Previous owner had the manifolds, downpipe and exhaust pipes powder coated and the union was wrapped with heat wrap. I took the heat wrap off once I got home and realized the union had no clamp.
New to GN's, but not to musclecars so excuse the rookie questions.

stock crossover pipes are one piece. If it is aftermarket, get it welded on the car so it is in the right position.

Hey all,

Related to this, my instructions for my THDP clearly state do not use a clamp on the junction of the DP and exhaust system, yet my car has one there. Any idea why and should I remove it?

TIA,

EW
