Think that set up was a 4" rjc set up that the owner was having trouble make fit. I seen the car on here too. Maybe in the forsale section not sure

He said it didn't fit right over the axle or something and that was temp. from what I remember. You can see the over axle loop sitting sideways.

I've read on a Malibu forum that it's very difficult to get a 3" pipe mandrel bent properly to clear the rear axle & surrounding area. I would think that a 4" pipe would be even more difficult.

Yeah alot say you cant do it but it can be done if your suspension is not doing a ton of squat it should be fine I've done dual 3s before but I had tubular uppers and coilover type springs had tons of room.

its on rjc's website. I think it would be a waste to run a 4" exhaust with a 3" down pipe. So I think you would have to run their down pipe and their exhaust which would be 750 for downpipe and 650 for exhaust plus a test pipe or something to go in between them

I wouldn't run it under the rear end. There is plenty of room for it to fit over rear it. Mine was modified, not because of anything RJC did. My car is a custom make fit type of project. My downpipe for starters runs closer to my tranny, rather then the stock location because flanges etc were fabbed at the chassis shop. My tail pipe had to be modified because I run a Wolfe bar and the arms that come down from the bar to my axle tube are in the way of the way its supposed to run. RJC did a great job with this system. If you run a H&R bar and your downpipe is in the stock location under the car, your golden..... Here are some pics of mine.

Our 4" single shot fits better than most of the 3" single systems i have installed. I have not had a single complaint of it not fitting. Now if you have a Wolf bar or something similar that is routed right where we ran the big pipe through that will be a problem. The reason you can not normally get a mandrel bent pipe through there is because the bends have to be to close together to make the pipe. That is why we had to piece ours together with mandrel bent pieces. By doing this we can get the bends close enough that it clears with no problems.

BTW our 5" down pipes are on special right now for $650

hope this helps
