What does this connector control? When I got my trans the guy told me it had a stall in it....... I noticed the wiring in the trans was different than stock and the external plug only had one wire on it and it was kinda ghetto lol so I just used the original connector from my car.. Here's the thing when the car is I'm gear it starts to shake but in park or neutral it idles and revs great??? I need help bad.....

Is it grounding out? The sensor is a pressure switch

You get to undo someone's mucked up fess.

What they did was use the stock 12v from the brake switch for the solenoid, but instead of using the ECM to control lockup (which toggles the ground), they used the 4th gear pressure switch which means the converter locks right after 4th gear and won't unlock until it either downshifts or you hit the brakes. More importantly you don't have a 3rd or 4th gear pressure switch to tell the ECM when it hits 3rd. Most chips have lower timing in 3rd for the extra load so that's a big deal. You should restore it to stock config.

I just put everything back stock but now I hit the gas and it revs way high before it moves the guy I bought the trans from said it had a stall in it could this be why it was wired all funky?

Finally wired it back stock no more shaking but now it doesn't move until rpm get up to like 2000 the guy I got the trans from said it was a stall in it although I am on my way to get more trans fluid I am low at the moment so it's hard to tell if it's fluid or if the tc was wired the other way for a reason??? Any input would be helpful I wanna drive this baby she sounds so good

If adding fluid doesn't help it sounds like there is something wrong with the tranny.

Adding fluid helped but it leaking bad near the tc whil running and shaking again

Did you replace the seal in the pump before you installed it?

Well it is a good practice to replace seal in the front and seal in the back on a used transmission. Now you have a leak you gotta pull the transmission out now. Did the torque converter come with the transmission or did you put a different one in the transmission?

The tc came with the motor and trans, I'll probably be snatching it out soon
