had a talk with charlie about external power steering tank but hoping maybe someone here has done something like this

should have sayed that i was hoping if anyone knows what pump to use to get an external tank charlie mentioned a chevy C20 pump but are these any different in mounting and size to the stock pump`?

There was a discussion not long ago most after market pumps turn the wrong way. There are a few guys in the hydro boost section running after market style pumps you may want to take a look in those threads

If you only have a limited space to put it, The Mitsubishi engines have a tiny pump that is smaller than ones fist.
I'm not sure of the psi rating but shouldn't have a problem to run thru or recieve from a cooler/res.
It has two pivoting bolts at the bottom and a front tightening bolt @12.
Found on the 83+ pickups/eclipse/talon and probably more.
In otherwords, EVERY yard should have some.

ive been looking into pumps used into racing from stock cars or imca series cars as an option

If it wasnt for the lid I would get one of those reservoirs from mark just done like the way the cap looks.
