extra quart of trans fluid yes/no

At WOT my transmissions 1 -2 shift is firm, but not as quick or firm as at 1/2 throttle (sp?). I have read that some people recommend adding a extra quart of fluid. I don't really like this idea. What are my other options?

My car was the sameway as you described. I put 3/4 of a qt over and ..WHOOOA ... great solid shifts every single time at WOT.

So I say yes. Most all vendors I talk to recommend it any way .

Now that you have proven what your problem "was" , cure it! Running a quart over will in the long run when hot, vent. It can burn your car down, oil your tires, several ugly things can happen. Buy a pan and a sump kit that will "CURE" your problem not band aid it.

No flames or head butts wanted.
It has been over 2 years and in the Miami summer with a/c on and pounding on it, I have never had a boil over/vent out.


For what is worth, overfilling works for me.

Who sells a good deep pan and sump kit. This sounds like the way I would like to solve my problem. Thanks for the comments and help. Any other comments, or suggestions would be appreciated.
