I didnt put this in tech beacause I figured a few people would get grouchy at that. So anyways:

I got a '70 El Camino with probably 9-9.5:1 compression (flat top pistons with a small dish in the center and one half valve relief), Edelbrock Performer Aluminum heads, and a comp .530" 294/294 110* cam. Would an F-body radiator be enough to keep this engine cool? Right now the current radiator is not cutting it. Just looking for options.

We had big time overheating problems with our 502, even with a good radiator until we switched to Ramcharger dual electric fans.

Haven't had one problem since (except for the one time the fuse blew, so replaced it with a circuit breaker)

I got a good electric fan but unfortunalty it won't fit with the current radiator. Thats why I was wondernig about the F-body radiator
