I have one retro-fitted as well..... should have my pushrods this week..... mine ended up needing 8.350" pushrods.

I decked my block....skin cut the head... 8445's... and T&D 1.65 roller rockers...

Hopefully I will be back on the road within the next month or so.

Take some pics of what you've got so far and post them up... please

I have been hesitant....because I used a 350 spider...that has to be cut and shortened...then welded. It doesn't look as nice as 87Buickracer's spider he got out of an '86 3.8 Lesabre. His looks nice. Other than that...there is no difference. I'll try and get some pics prior to installing the intake.

Were these new rollers or used? They look good. If new, what were the part numbers?

What cam did you finally settle with? How much lift on int and exh? Lobe separation angle?

How much do the lifters drop down below the top of the dog bones?

Thanks for putting all this information out.

The lifters are used "pull-out" ones from a guy on the 60 deg V6 board.... he had an engine he was disassembling to use for parts on his car.... I gave $30 for the entire set....they look perfect.

I settled on the Comp 210/215 hyd roller from Mike at Full Throttle. I think it is on a 110 intake centerline... and 110 lobe separation.

The top of the lifters drop ever so slightly below the top of the dogbones..... almost flush... just a fuzz under flush... with the top of the dogbone...

I should have mine going in the next month or so...
