Factory Tps settings..

I am going to help a new buick owner tune his car tonight. The car is basically stock besides an exhaust and KN from what I understand.

He has mentioned he has checked the Tps setting with an OTC and it is .42 at idel and around 4.3-4.4 @ WOT. I typically like to run my cars with atleast a WOT tps at around 4.7-4.8. However, I have never really played with a completely car such as this one. Is that tps setting acceptable for a stock car, or should it be raised??

it is fine. Anything over 4.0 is fine at wot. Only need to beat 4.0 in order to avail oneself to the factory programming for ac compressor kick out. Otherwise it can be even less.
