im not trying to be a dink i just looked at it and saying it could be misleading to someone but if the buyer is happy with then oh well. no where does it state that it is real or a replica so its not that accurate of a description and you cant disagree with that.

And why are so on this guys jock so hard?

I HAVE HAD GREAT DEALINGS WITH MANY PEOPLE BUYING AND SELLING AND THIS IS GUY IS ONE OF THEM.. AND IT AGGRIVATES ME TO SEE SOMEONE WHO'S KNOWN FOR PUTTING PEOPLE LIKE RJC AND OTHERS DOWN, CLAIMING THEY ARE THE PROBLEM, WHEN IN REALITY, THE PROBLEM LIES WITHIN!!

I MAY HAVE BEEN EXCESSIVE BUT BEING A BUSINESS MAN MYSELF I HAVE LEARNED TO NEVER PUT DOWN OTHERS!! KEEP IT BETWEEN YOU AND HIM. THIS SORT OF IMMATURITY REMINDS ME OF HIGH SCHOOL!!
ITS SCARY TO THINK OF WHAT WILL HAPPEN THE NEXT TIME SOMEONE ADVERTISES A GNX, STYLE, LOOK ALIKE, ORIGINAL, REPRODUCTION, OR ANY OTHER TYPE OF COVER WITH THE GNX INSIGNIA ON IT, ON EBAY OR OTHER SITES.. I CAN ONLY IMMAGINE THE DESTINCTIVE DESCRIPTION AND PLETHORA OF PICTURE'S THAT WILL BE NECESSARY FOR A GOOD HONEST SALE AND DETERMINATION OF PRICE!! ALL I CAN SAY IS GOOD LUCK!!

Its sick to pay more then $150.00 for a heat shield.
Most people toss them. And even if you keep it, it doesn’t make the car any faster, come to think of it; it might hurt by adding the extra weight. Which again most people try to loose. But I guess I missed the point ohhh it has the does 3 specific letters together that = diamonds to most TR lovers.

Well surely if you knew how much Joe charged for them,you were well aware there were fakes and you shouldve informed yourself,I mean your friend

I think if you have the money to spend and its what you want then you should buy it while you see one for sale. I realy dont think its that bad a price considering a GNX dash now sells for about $3000 (some dont even have the correct gauges with the ISO symbols and sell for close to that) and some are getting $4000+ for the wheels without tires.

Also, if you email the guy asking if the shield is original or a repro and he tells you he does not know and cant or wont send you the underside picture you want you should just assume it a repro and bid on it as so if you even had any intension on bidding at all.

The way you put it, if the seller isnt willing to take underside photos, then in a split second i would assume its a fake, and a good repop at that. For 900.00 its a win win situation IMO (if your willing to buy one anyway)

Because I think GM would put a stop to it real quick unless the seller bought the rights to sell things with the name GNX on them. Thats why you dont see Kirban selling emblems, hats, mugs, or anything with name GNX on it unless they got it from someone with the rights. They even had to take GNX off the rear end cover on their reproduction suspension so I guess GM means business.
