I was wondering if anyone had any info on the FAST serial protocol? I was thinking about making a display unit to display values from the ecu on an LCD panel, and would need the info on how to communicate with the ECU and get it to deliver the values I wanted.

I have not heard nor seen anything about their unit that is coming out, but I have a few ideas that I am playing around with. Such as writing log files to a usb flash drive for huge storage capabilities and driving a LCD panel.
in one night, i have made pretty good progress...... able to sync the ecu, and read data from it... now to figure out exactly what format all of the data comes out in.
