This question is going to the guys running an AC delco mini starter. Where do you get the bolts for this starter in order to mount it to a 109 block?

Hi,
My Riviera uses the permanent magnet starter. It was built in '95.I replaced a starter not too long ago, on an '96 Caprice, and it had the old style, but went back with a pm. The flange was the same. So ,the question is, what starter are you running? You could just go to the hardware store, but you wont find knurled bolts there. The knurling locates the starter, but you could just use a gauge, then secure it tightly. Just an idea, good luck!

Buy it from the guy on this board and he will give you everything you need for $99.I got mine from him and no problems.

The "Help" section at the local auto parts store. They have various starter bolt lenghts.

I was able to reuse the stock bolts with no problem whatsoever. I had read about using different bolts and was baffled when i didnt need them.

Any SBC starter bolt is what you want. Down on the Help rack. The stockers also work. They are a thread or two longer so be carefull that you dont bottom the bolts in the block.

Did you ever get the bolts, because Fasten is THE BEST for getting you a fastener, even if its not the one you wanted;)
