I seem to recall 11.20ish? Anyone clarify this? Recently Blew my pt-68. Was thinking about chasing down the fastest factory turbo record since I have a couple of them laying around. Would be factory long block as well with the acception of the cheapo fed mog. pistons.

Its been 11.37@116mph on a stock longblock. No one else has been sub 11.50 that i know of. If you want to go faster than that you will need to find some power. Plan on doing a lot of r&d and playing around with different stuff to find that power. This was a full weight regal on 93/alky. It will be a turd compared to what you are used to. I have a .82 ex housing for a stock turbo if youre interested

Was that mike (orlando87gn)? If I had a way of locking a converter I'm sure I could trap in the 120's. I think the stocker may get lost in my current converter. Not a major accomplishment in a 2800lb chassis though...

the 11.37 was ed brewer

look up the gallina TTA
it was a NHRA record holder for several years
1) Marka Gallina, Las Vegas, '89 Trans Am, I/SA, 11.208 seconds, -1.392 under index

that tta is still running (less the lettering) and owned by a club member in deleware
