Fastest time on TA-49 turbo and stock longblock!

What is the fastest time you have with your TA49 turbo w/ stock longblock?

No head porting
No intercooler upgrades( ah, heck....I'll be flexable)

I know there are some fast guys in here that meat the criteria.

And no"My brothers, sisters,cousin" crap.


My times are in SIG.

well, i don't have a 1/4 mile time yet but i ran a few weeks ago a ran a 7.49 @23psi with a stock fuel pump that went out on that pass and ran REAL lean, like 650 o2's so it ran real weak on top end so it was a waste of a run. got that fixed with a 340 fuel pump and hotwire kit. i will be going to the Buick vs Ford shootout to try and run some 11.30's @ 118-120mph!! i will post up on how i do.

i appreciate the comments JDSfastGN, i hope i can even break 11's, the reason i say that is cause this is the first time i have been to a 1/4 mile track with new combo. last time i was at a 1/4 mile track was with my stock turbo and ran 12.20's at 20psi. but i am confident it will run low 11's now if i turn the wick up.time will tell, but i think i will be pleased on how it perfroms. JDSfastGN, i am also staying at Ruby's for the event, are you going up friday and t-n-ting? thats what i'm doing. this is also my first year to go and i am looking forward on having a blast.

I put a dutt neck IC on and with this cold weather WOW!!!

I am also locking my converter this time out and running 25psi

Bryan, Thats denatured you just drank!!! Oh well, if its good enough for the car.

We will see tomorrow what happens. I just want to be safe along with the car. If I can bust off the same times and not break anything, I will be happy. Cooler weather sure seems to KICK IT UP A NOTCH tho!!!!

My last times were in 80 degree weather. Now it will be 60's

man i must be doing something wrong....i have a TE44/FM and blue tops (may be the issue) and i have run a 28* chip and straight c16 at 23 lbs and cant make better than my sig.....

just hoping that the new 50's i just bought, and associated chip will finally put me in the 11's....

i know all cars are different....and i do have the fully optioned GN so its heavy....but here's the kicker, my street chip, on 93 octane can handle 22 psi (just found that out tonite) in OD no less.....granted the temp was probalby in the 50s.....so in street trim it appears to run right where it should....but in race trim it just doesnt run where it "should"

I went 11.48 @ 116.14, with a TA-49, Blue Tops, Duttweiler-neck'd stock Intercooler, and a stock downpipe, on 275/50/15 BFG Drag Radials. Stock suspension, brakes, and Hooker exhaust.

That was a TA-49 and stock longblock time. Like the first post says.

60' was a 1.551 and the mph in my lane didnt work

I think you will get a 10.90 but you will need to work on that 60' and add more power!

Ya, Im upping the timing a couple degrees and launching w/ a RJC boost controller next time out. All in cool 50 degree weather should net an 11.0 - 10.90

I really dont know what the limits are on the stock rear end.... I have heard 1.5 60' will kill the Aussie 9 bolt. I think that is my weakest link.

Hey, just imagine a 60 series turbo or anything bigger for that matter on this beast w/ easier launch!!
