Hello again!Just wanted to see if all agree and to hear what other muscle cars you all have owned to compare to.I have owned my current GN twice.I sold it initially because I made a good trade on some money to boot!I regretted it every since!I traded it for a 1970 Torino Cobra with a 429 SCJ,Ram Air,and the Drag Pak option and got several thousand to boot.I have also owned a 1995 Saleen S351,340 Dart Swinger,383 1969 Road Runner, several Mustang Cobra's,lots of 5.0 Mustangs,1965 and 1967 442's,several Formulas and T/A's and lots more. The problem is that I love cars-but I gotta sell one in most cases to buy another!I think that over all with all things considered (performance, economy, resale, and most of all bang for the buck;the Turbo Buicks are tops!Mine run's mid 12's on Eagle GT'S and I still get an average of 18 mpg while driving back and forth to work.Okay, what is your opinion on the best muscle car all things considered? Thanks in advance and have a great da!

I think the TR's created a new genre of car that has not been duplicated yet. As far as muscle cars go, I like the 1965 Malibu SS with Z-16 package. Also 65 GTO, and 66-67 Buick Skylark GS.

i'm gonna have to agree with oehm. i like the 1970 SS LS6 Chevelle dark green with white stripes. of course a close seconf is the would be a saturn yellow 1970 Buick GSX Stage 1.

I have had a few old "beaterz" :p ...427 AC Cobra, BB Shelby's, 396-425hp 65 Vette an a slew of others...my favorite???? 1989 TTA...bought new an beat the hell outta it...it was the most fun I have had with a car

My favorite muscle car of all time would be the 1970 Buick GS 455 Stage 1..... Diplomat Blue w/ White vinyl top and a white gut.

A close second would be a 1970 Mercury Cyclone Spoiler in Grabber Green with the 429 SCJ/Toploader.

Ok, one more. 1969 Pontiac Grand Prix SJ with the 428HO and 4 speed. It's not really a muscle car but a really cool boulevard bruiser.

1965 GTO gets my vote also owned.

1965 Coronet 500
1967 GTO
1979 S.A. Trans Ams x 2
1957 Chevy

'69 Boss 429
'67 GTO (just something about that one)
'70 454 El Camino
'71 Cuda
'70-'71 Formula 400/455 (I think it was the 400 in '70, 455 in '71???)

Edit: not that I owned these, just favorites. Only had 1 that might qualify as muscle, '78 Firebird with swapped in 455.

Owned a '70 Cuda and wish I still had it but I wouldn't get rid of my GN for anything. Had it since '86.

true.

my old man used to have a '68 383 charger with dual holleys and a few other things, but he got cut off at an intersection by the municpal court judge of the town and wrecked the poor thing. naturally, he wasnt going to win in court, so he parted out the good stuff. that would be a fun car if he still had it.

even though theyre not muscle, old school caddys are ok too. my mom had a '72 and a '78 deville, pimp!

My 69 and 71 Buick GS's you can't beat a Buick Big Block for vintage muscle.

My favorite is the '66-67 Nova. Don't know what it is, I just like the body style of that car. ;)

A guy in our club has a red '64 Skylark with a TR motor. It looks sweet and hauls tail.
