Turbos are sexy! Love the black! Where did you get them coated?

the turbos were custom built and coated by Reed Patridge from Work Turbochargers . He use to be partners at SuperNatural Turbos , but left and started his own company . Great guy , and knows his stuff . he did a real nice job on them , they look very cool . he liked the way they turned out so much, he now uses the pic of my turbos on his web site . :)

Thanks for posting his site. Love it. Those turbos look sick for sure! Love the look of your motor with all the black.

This thing is starting to grow . lol :D :)

Got the engine and TH400 trans dropped in last weekend . I was a little worried about the hood clearance . but..it looks like it should not be a problem (as already mentioned by Louie L in a earlier post).also I may have a downpipe issue on the DS . Not sure untill I bolt up the headers w/the turbos hanging off of them . I'm VERY VERY slow at this stuff as you already must of figured out . :D just want to take my time on it . , but I hope to have it up running by the end of June early July . I'll keep you posted . :)

Looks great! I'm in the middle of a similar project, except right now it has a Vortech YSi (will get a turbo eventually). Have your tried closing the hood yet? Any issues? Did you have to remove your hood insulator pad?

Jim
