Getting ready to install a fiberglass hood and bumpers and was wondering about the prep. What do you have to do to keep the weave from showing through after you finish painting. I've been down this road before either I used the wrong stuff or missed a step in the process. thanks

If you have painted it and the webing is showing through. Its too late. No amount of color sanding and buffing will take care of it. It will eventually show back up. If this is happening, that means there is not enough jelcoat on it in the first place. What will help next time is to use blocking primer sand it before hand. Before painting. In some cases the webing will still show through. That is the nature of fiberglass mating.
