Fiberglass vs. Carbon fiber..?

Is there someone who makes a carbon fiber hood for our GN's? I already have a fiberglass one, but I was told that carbon fiber is stronger and has a smoother finish than fiberglass. If that's the case, I'd sell mine and buy a carbon fiber one.
Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated...
