So hot airs don't get te charging problem?

My scan master would always show low voltage and my battery would never fully charge. Alternator did test good though
 
did you check the alternator out put voltage in your car ,should be approx 14volts
if it isnt then you need to check your field wire
alt is outputting voltage and battery wont fully charge wouldnt one assume the battery is the issue or the cable to the battery is bad

I put a new battery in it and it wouldn't charge it.

I think I checked the voltage output from the alternator once and it was good along with taking it to a parts store and it tested good.

Right now my car is apart getting body work done so I cant check now, I just recently thought of this so that's why I made the thread, I guess I should of waited so I can actually test it.

What's the "field wire"?
