this is not exactly true  the version we have out now is brand new, we did have an older version that was on the caddy LMP car back in 01 and also other current LMP cars

we never shipped these to japan or australia before we released them here

What is the control range options? The HKS has an interesting feature with the control springs. Or maybe the Tial covers the range with just one spring? Electronic controller only?

our springs for the 60mm range from 2.17psi (small yellow) to 15.21psi(big blue&small blue)

then you can add the controler for anything beyond...rule of thumb, if you run 30psi have no less than a 15psi spring, 20 psi, no less than a 10psi spring etc etc

Good info. Thanks. I might not have blown my last engine if I had the info then.

o really? When I went to buy my 40mm(like 3-4 years ago) I was told that the 60mm wasn't available to public. I knew the LMP cars ran them, as well as many other racing organizations, but I figured you either had to have a connection to get one from tial directly, or a race team n get them through a distributer :D

Tial Sport new to the board? Welcome, always nice to have a tial guy on board!

the 60mm version you are refering to is the old version (shiney version) It was actually built for the LMP cars and endurance racing...we improved on it and we have now released the new version

yea thats the one!

so its 5 years old not 3-4 sweet. Yea the LMP cars are the cars that turned me onto tial. Speed vision had an enduro on TV a long time ago when I was in high school. They were talking about boost controll and tial products. I have been hooked ever sence. Then doing more reading up on tial, I find that there absolutly amzing peices, and with the race proven tech. its nice to be able to use this tech. on the street.

WELCOME TO THE DARKSIDE(common name for GN's sence they only came in black) tialsport! We here at turbobuick.com LOVE tial products :)

Any chance of a TIAL GP?;)

to refresh this post does anyone run the tial 60mm gate yet?

calling on tial sport! what spring would you recommend for tial bov, using 3" pipe, a front mount, dual nozzles for alky, and a t66 DBB turbo with boost going no higher then 30psi @ track. Less around 20-25psi on street. Tell me more about the new Q BOV when can I get one:)!!!!!!

and is this location fine for the bov? I used to have it right before the TB but i am going alky so that is first, I placed the bov way down the inlet pipe, as you can see. Thank you in advance, and happy holidays.

Use the 11psi spring for your application, it will hold shut and have great response time. I have been using this same setup for 1.5 years and have no problems, make sure and run the vacuum line to the TB junction port.

yea thats the one I was using, if I remember correctly. The unpainted spring. I wonder what the difference would be with a 12psi spring and their NEW Q BOV! I am going to get one asap tialsport can you get me one? Here is a picture, just found it.
To the left is the new Alpha Q Recirculating Blow-Off-Valve, center is the 9 year old? design, and to the right is the new Q series.

I searched for a long long time and found most shops only let you buy 12ft of this stuff at a time, costing way over $120 too. But you in luck, I found a great place that sell this hose for sweet prices; plus in 3,6,12 lengths of YOUR Choosing. My hose is the 4" 300 degree, but they have the Orange 500 degree hose as well. All different sizes and lengths......have at it Pegasus -Cooling Air Ducting Hose I got 6' which is MORE then enough for about $55! Thats half the price of a short style hard pipe these days :)

if your there tial sport check out my above posts; I gotz some questions four ya!!!

that location is fine, what do you pull vacuum wise at idle when the car is in drive?

Q should be out in a few weeks (silver only) then a couple weeks later we should have the colors available

sounds great; if you can get me one I am ready to buy it right now.

I am not sure how much vac I pull@ idel yet. My car isn't finished, but it will be in the next couple of weeks. Thanks Tial Sport :) You Are The Man.

Why would someone on here have or need a 60mm wastegate? We have 6 cylinder 231 cube motors, a 44mm would be plenty for most of us, I am getting a 60mm for my 400 cube Ponti motor because I plan on running 10psi.

Tial Sport, what wastegate do you recommend for 231 cube motors ( most of us run 15+ psi )??

really depends on how you want to control the car on the launch etc...a 44mm should be fine for 15psi+ on the 3.8 granted you have proper wastegate placement etc etc

if you wanted to control say 5 or 6psi or lower...then i would say a 60mm

you should ask Don Wang; he's gotta 900$+ 60mm HKS gate. I know for a fact the more people then him who use a 60mm gate. Granted 60mm is freaky huge, there is always a use for them just depends how fast you wanna go. Just my 2cents. BTW tial 60mm is super sexy!!!
