finally went racing

hey everybody. i just got on leave from the military. got home 7 oclock saturday morning after a 12 hour drive. i was at the track at 10 oclock. thats the first time ive been there since last fall, so i was excited. my car has been in a shed for 9 months, but i got it out, put some sticky tires on it, and 50% 91 and 50% 110 fuel from the track. anyway my best run of the day was 13.78 at 96.5 leaving with 6 lbs and running 15-16 lbs. no one would believe that the car is 100% original. impressed alot of people and myself. anyway i plan on spending a few dollars on it this week, valve springs first, it floats around 4800 right now, so hopefully i can get a 13 flat out of it.

Congrats! My GN has been in the garage for 2 years now. She will be out next year, though (I hope!).

Yup same thing with me on the valve springs, it'll redline when you replace them.
