Well I finally got the passenger head off and found the head gasket on #4 blew into the lifter valley like we all thought.

Upon further inspection the headgasket is a FelPro, #9441PT (hard to read). This is supposed to be a decent gasket, right? I know they are not known to take a lot of abuse, but I think a lot of guys used to use them. With this gasket I do not need to woory about all the graphite being blown through the engine like on a stocker right?

Also the pistons are stamped H521AP .040
I take it that means .040 over hypers? So what does that give me, a 237c.i. 6?:D

.030=235 cu in-so 237 is about right,9441 pt are good gaskets-i use them with no problem,as far as a .040 bored block-beware of heating problems with the cylinder walls so thin ,also dont know how much preessure i d run through them cylinders-i know certainly not too much with hypers.

I dont plan on babying the engine, it just needs to last until I get the original motor rebuilt. I am installing Jason Cramer's "bullet proof" headgasket set so we will see how much pressure it can handle. I only run 20psi with my stock turbo so the thin walls and N/A crank should be able to handle that
