I noticed that this firewall bolt was a bit loose so I tightened it. What does it ground and is there anything else that connects to it? Thanks.

Yes, I do have a Powermaster. Is that Transmission braided ground hook up to a bolt on the drivers side of transmission? I’ve been having surging/ hesitation issues lately.

Not sure which bolt exactly but probably the one on top left (drivers), has no relation to engine management, maybe for galvanic case reduction and to make sure the 3rd and 4th gear grounding switches have a good ground inside the tranny.
The T.C.C. solenoid ground is supplied by the ECM to lock up the converter so it's not for that.

Thanks, I’ll check the transmission drivers side. If it’s missing, I’ll try to find a replacement for the braided ground. 👍
