My car will be at the Bates Nut farm show (See So. Western Sec) tomorrow. I'm sure that everyone will be posting pics of it. I've got to get up at 4:30 AM to go leave for it. Time for bed.

Now, Who's going to get the second set of rims?:)

Mike Barnard

wow. i dont know what else to say. i cant stop thinking about a set in 17inch. im just about speechless. im gonna check ebay to see how much i can get for my torque thrust 11s !!!!

WOW

HOME RUN !!! :cool:

GRAND SLAM !!! ;)

PERFECT GAME !!!! :eek:

UNASSISTED TRIPLE PLAY !!!!!!!!!! :eek::eek:

ALL ROLLED INTO ONE :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

Very Cool! This is what GM should have had on there since the get go! Gotta see a set in 17" or 18"-can't wait.

those are indeed AWESOME, wow!

I'm just wondering, though, if going to 17" would detract from the "chrome"/black visual proportions of the legacy GN wheel. Those look perfect as-is! should be easy to make 15x10's.

if you leave the wheel center as-is and stretch the rim part to 17", might be too much Bling.

Thanks Guys.

Got first place today at the Bates Nut Farm show.:)
I know that Budnik is geared up for 15s right now. Any width or back space is not a problem. Alan Budnik said that if there was intrest, he'd do bigger. We almost did 18s on my car. I just like the drag stance I get with the 15s. Also, didn't want to give up traction on a ten second car.:)

So, who else is going to order a set? Post pics of them when you can. I held up my end of the deal. I got the ball rolling. Got the first set made, and posted a BUT LOAD of pics.:D

I'll try and post pics when I get some good light.

Happy spooling...

Mike Barnard

These rims looked even better in person! Very, very impressive! Car didn't look bad either. ;)

Your onto something here. The response from board members speaks for itself.

If the price is right, these will sell like hot cakes. Keep it under $2000 for a set and you have a winner. ;)

Im glad your company stepped up. I sold your wheels plenty of times back in the early 90's when the custom truck phase was in full swing. The customer service was outstanding and the product was always ahead of the others.

very nice. I agree, when going to 17 or 18 leave the black area around the lugs the same size...stretch the rim proportionally between the lip and there.

I agree.
Mike...they are hideous.
tsk, tsk, tsk....

You need to just dump those things... on me ...and get a new set.
I'll take one for the team.:cool:
I'm a giver.:rolleyes:
:biggrin:
