First time at the track

WHHOOOO my very first time at the track and my car's best time was 12.06 at 116 mph its been in the low 12's all nite next time It should go into the high 11's I know that isnt too empressive but i am excited about it.

i dunno what you mean about it not being empressive...... i think its empressive whenever someone runs their car insted of it just sitting in a gearge or going to shows all the time with it...... jmofwiw

mild ported heads, good size cam dont rember the specs, ported intake w/ 70 mm plenmum, stock headers, injectors 50 pounders, 3 inch terry houston down pipe, new style highly airodynamic cat (test pipe), hooker exhaust, bee cool raideor (please excuse my spelling i know it sucks), gt 76 turbo 20 lb boost. cottons intercooler (its mine now), upgraded fuel pump dis digital ignition system 10 mm plug wires. (one head light removed, wipers removed, cig lighter removed) BF goodrich ta drag rad. yes i know the tires arnt that good but there a heck of a lot better then what i had on before

GT76 and 50lb injectors

Think that turbo's big enough? What made you go with a 76?

I will put in 57's later f i need more fuel i can pull of the cam sencer plug while its running or add a 7th injector. With 20 lbs of boost running 116 octaine there was no knock. There seems to be no top end to that turbo. it just keeps on going. I like it.

57's? you need 83's!


If your only getting 116 - sorry.

I get 116 with my Ta49 - and still has instant boost and a few more MPH left. I'll be mad if my car doesn't see 119-120 without heads.

You need to review your combo - your running as much if not more turbo than most TSM car.
