Hello everyone. I want to get a run down the quarter before I pack the Buick away for the winter. I have some plans to increase performance during the winter so I need a base line. This will be my first time to the race track ever. I was curious if anyone had some pointers.. Maybe a couple websites that explain the general procedure, rules, etc. I can't seem to find the NHRA rule book online so I can read through it. Also where could I find a helmet? Do they usually lend them? I am heading to NED if anyone knows that place well.. I am running 20PSI no knock on Alky on a stock turbo, stock engine, etc. So make a guess on my time if you want..

Thanks
Zack

Thank you. Those were just what I was looking for.. Anyone know where I can get a helmet though? It looks like I need to buy my own.

Thanks
Zack

Summit or Jegs Zack. You might want to see if someone near you can loan you one if you need it fast.

Maybe Pronto is going. I could possibly borrow it from him.. Or Grumpy.. Ill ask around. It looks like neither Jegs nor Summit could ship one quick enough..

When you going? NED closes this weekend.
The hemet needs to be SNELL rated or they will reject it.

Sat/Sun are test and tune only so those days are good too. What's the weather for Friday night? If you go Friday you got to be there early. The start at 6 and it will be getting dark already. The track will be slippery by 7:30 with dew.
