Flappy grille

I'm finally about done putting my front end together but I have one problem...My grille just flaps in the wind. Am I missing a part that pushes the grille out firmly or something?

Bend the ends of them so they don't come off as easy. Large pot holes tend too help slip them off.

Just go to the junkyard and get them off another 80's Regal. It will cost you about $1. Kirban has made some repos but I'm sure they are more than originals at the junkyard. I bought one years ago at the dealer and it was about $10. I have heard they are discontinued.

Mine is just bolted at the tops and zip-tied in the middle, has been that way for years.

Local parts store. Just get some springs from the Help! section.

is it a sin that I gave up on trying to put those damn springs in and just used black zip ties??:biggrin: someday I will redo them.
