Flared 1-2 shift

There are only around 10,000mi on this tranny and I have begun to notice that when the car is hot, the 1-2 shift becomes very flared. Normally the shift is hard and crisp when the car is cool. The flaring goes away when I let the car cool off. Any idea?

Post line pressures when hot and when the ratio change is occurring.

Is there a simple way to check line pressure?

There's a pipe plug on the drivers side of the tranny you can hook a line and a gauge to. HTH james

My gf lives in Pawtucket RI. If you want next time im around ill go with you for a test drive. I dont have my pressure gauges. I stupidly let someone borrow them 2 years ago and never got them back . If you get a guage and a hydraulic hose then we can check it. PM if your intersted.
