Fluid Transfusion

I can't find anyone to do a fluid and filter change anymore, just the full fluid transfusion. Pro's / Con's to this process?

If your asking about if you should change the ATF then yes good idea, if your asking about just changing the fluid and not filter not so good.

It does seem a lot of the quick lube places don't drop pans or remove differential covers anymore-- they pump old fluids out of the fill hole or fill tube, then refill.

This seems like a bad idea -- you DO want to change filters (where used) and inspect the pan for evidence of debris.

Reason #7 for not taking vehicles to those quick lube places
