Looking good is the main thing these days, singing well (with the aid of a good recording studio) is second. No one cares if the person actually has musical talent, knowledge, can write music, write lyrics, play instruments...Just be marketable. They don't even have to be able to hold a note these days, just yodel through the scale to make it seem like you're a good singer. That said, ole Brit's got some nice T & A there.
