For Sale: 1987 Buick Grand National: 3.8L SFI Turbo V-6, un-molested, never raced, no accidents. Acceleration and shifts are smooth and powerful. 48,000 original miles. 2nd owner, original owner was from Kokomo, Indiana where I purchased the car, still have window sticker showing its delivery from Pontiac, Michigan to Kokomo. Functional power locks, windows and trunk release. Cruise control works like new. Factory paint (rust free), T-tops (with factory GM bags), digital speedometer gauge cluster, carpeted trunk. Working air conditioning, needs to be charged with R-12. Working wipers and washer fluid sprayer. Heat, vents and rear defrost work like new. Over $6000 invested in upkeep, all work done by Bruce Alred at Aggressive Performance in Clinton Twp., Michigan within the last year: Hooker dual exhaust (factory look), Tin Man cold air intake (factory air intake included), 93 octane performance chip, 160 degree thermostat, replaced turbo and mass air with OEM parts, new hoses, charged air intercooler cleaned out regularly, new battery, new hood shocks, new torque converter clutch solenoid, 93 Octane performance chip, boost gauge mounted under radio (digital dash only has yellow/red turbo lamps so this will accurately show how many pounds of boost you are running). Powermaster brake system, new vacuum block. NO leaks, all oil seals and gaskets are brand new! Factory “charcoal can” for fume filtering, Turbo T wheels and tires (for the look and weight savings). Interior like new, no burns, rips or tears and factory window tint. Back seat never sat in, factory cigarette lighter is even still included! Removable center console with cup holders, larger storage space (looks factory), Lok-IT anti-theft steering column lock (removable or can be made permanent), kenwood c.d. player (original factory Delco Concert II radio included), new kenwood rear deck speakers and factory antenna is still in place and works (will need new motor if you want it to go up/down on startup/shutdown). New dash, no cracks, fading etc. New window guides, door seals. T-top seals need to be replaced (already purchased and have seal kit, included), but do not leak. Under the hood is clean and complete, under hood turbo 6 heat shield complete and in good shape, under hood light bulb still functional. Front and rear bumper fillers are intact and in place (front will need to be replaced eventually, cracking). All interior/exterior lights intact and functional. Minor paint swirls, common scratches, I think I professional wax/buff job would eliminate any need for a repaint. Brakes work well, could use new pads if you are so inclined. Like stated earlier, this car has never been raced or abused. Garage kept, has never see winter and rarely sees a rain drop. This car is ready to drive anywhere without worry. This car is beautiful, as is, and can easily become someone’s show/competition style car if you are inclined to spend the money on more cosmetic surgery, haha. Other than the above listed, all parts are factory, no aftermarket junk, no amateur mechanic stuff, all work done by a turbo buick specialist. Im a nervous guy, so even the most minor mechanical issue has been checked out by Aggressive Performance. No shakes, pulling, drips, smoke, or that other bad stuff. Serious inquiries only, no trades. More pictures can by emailed upon request. I work at Selfridge Air National Guard Base in Harrison Twp., Michigan. Any meetings, etc. can be done there (safety reasons). I have the title but will need payment to clear my bank before signing over. Any questions, don’t hesitate to email me: jeffbarna@comcast.net It breaks my heart to sell my all-time favorite car, but I just don’t drive it enough (and not into the car show scene) to let it waste away sitting in my garage. If you DO NOT like getting compliments and looks of envy on the road, this isn’t the car for you!!! Asking $21,500, but will consider any serious offer. Not looking for a bidding war, so first firm, serious offer will get this amazing car. Hope to give her a great home from someone who will enjoy and appreciate this 26 year old classic!!

Beautiful car but side note, how do you like that exhaust. I just picked the same one up pretty cheap and was wondering how you like it.

Its awesome. Great sound, but not on the obnoxious side. Aggressive and smooth.

Yes it is. Matches the window sticker. Anyway, who cares. Sold today! Thanks everyone!

I'm glad it sold but USDOT standards dictate window tinting and that can only be up to 70% transmittance, that means 70% of the light goes through the glass and 30% is filtered out. The front doors and windshield have a factory glazing inside the glass and the FILM applied to the front doors is aftermarket on this particular car. SUVs have factory glazing tint within the glass behind the driver darker than the front windows and that's what the DOT allows. Some states allow aftermarket FILM to be applied to the front windows and some don't. This car is in the latter category.

If you look at the photo of my current two-tone Regal, THAT has factory tinted glass.

I just prefer accuracy over BS, that's all. Enjoy your $.
