Saw the Steely Dan show at Ives Park in Danbury, CT on monday night.

Outdoors perfect cool night for the show.

They played the Foxwoods MGM tonight.

A very entertaining show and it's rare that a band can play a ton of good stuff and leave out about half a dozen big hits.

Great band and backup singers and expensive beer.

Gonna go to the Royal Scam album night in Boston I think.

Lots of 50 year old dancing boobies too.

They didn't play one of my favorites Midnight Cruiser but then again Fagan didn't sing it on the first album anyway. :p

My wife saw Frampton at that same place back on July 1st. We saw him together again at Foxwoods a couple weeks ago. Good to see these old guys still on the road. Frampton is doing something cool at his concerts, you can buy a 3 CD package of the concert you are seeing at the end of the show!

Really wish I could have seen the Zappa plays Zappa show at the Klein in Bridgeport last nite. Frank's son Dweezil playing his stuff with some of his old band members. Glad I got the chance to see FZ play at the Bushnell in Hartford years ago.

Reelin in the years! Remember blasting that when the guitar solo started.

They were in topeka not too long ago and I should have went I guess. I DID go see the marshall tucker band and grand funk railroad a couple years back. grand funk railroad can still do it but the marshall tucker band needs to quit, OR at least be sober for the show.

A little town to the north of us had Black Oak Arkansas (remember Jim Dandy?) play a couple of years ago for an ABATE rally.

To say that they years have not been kind to these guys would be an understatement. It was so bad, it was comical.

The Marshall Tucker band used to play CT a lot in the hippie days they jammed a lot and were pretty good back then.

You won't find any more professional musicians than onstage with Becker and Fagan.

Friends went to the McCartney show at Yankee Stadium and said it was awesome too.

They did do "Reelin' in the Years" and their lead guitarist was great.

I would have liked it to be about twice as loud to drown out some yuppies talking next to me, but the girls started dancing when they played "Bodhisattva" and shut up for the rest of the show.

Outdoor concerts are great especially when the beer tent is 30 feet away from row Z. :p

Girlfriend got to hear "Black Cow" so all in all it was a good time. :)
