I was at alocal salvage yard today getting a part and I learned that they just got in a 1979 Buick Regal Turbo Sport Coupe. I checked it out and it is totally complete and unmolested. Has the typical rusty rear quarters of a Minnesota car, but the rest of the sheetmetal looks teriffic.
It is black with a black Limited bench seat interior in terrific shape. The engine compartment looked complete, including some sort of turbo electronic control box attached to the middle of the fan shroud. Had a 4 bbl carb with red-painted ductwork under the hood.
Is this car desireable and worth picking up if it was priced reasonably? What would be a fair price for a '79 Turbo Regal car?
Thanks in advance!
