That’s overkill on the wall thickness but Chucky’s engine makes monster power.
That rear bar could be 0.093 wall or 0.085 wall and still work very well.
Chuck is making like 1200hp

My bad..The result of too many nitro fumes!
The tubing is 1" x .076 wall. welded tubing.
Mine.
BTW, the frame topic has been posted before. Not sure the search works, but it's worth a try.
The rear brkts for the cross bar are available from GNS.
And, yes, the welds were cleaned up....
The pads on top of the shock mt area are 1/8" 6 x 6".. legal to mount roll cage struts to.

Chuck, if you have all measurements for your braces, would you make another set and sell as a kit?
Sorry, it doesn’t work that way. I helped Chuck make this set up. We measured about 5 frames and each one was different. It’s best to buy the mounts....and then cut the cross piece to fit your exact application. That’s a great idea

No, it's purpose is to brace up the upper shock mounts as that area as proven to be a weak point.Scott or Chuck,
does the rear shock tower brace serve same purpose as rear fame brace?
Thanks

The rear frame brace is put into place to help keep the rear frame horns from flexing, one would think the bumper would do that but it's amazing the flex even with the rear bumper, the brace helps eliminate that...
I’m mounting my ALKY Pump there for my trunk mounted ALKY tank. And, it makes a great place for a chute mount.....For those that can run that fast.
Does all the bracing that has been talked about help support a rear notch? Or once you cut, the structural strength is never the same.
