Free car show for Illinois/Wisconsin members

The G-body Club of Northern Illinois is holding a free car show this year. Called “Cruise-in Volo”, it will be held on Saturday, August 16th at Volo Auto Museum. The show will be held from 10am-4pm on that Saturday. All are invited and welcome to this free show, but must be registered to park in the show field.

-You will hear the best of the 50’s and 60’s rock from a live performance by “the affects” from 12pm-4pm.

-There will be special show car parking to all registered participants.

-All show Participants must be registered by July 13th at the very latest.

Nobody wants to attend this G-body sponsored and G-body based show in northern illinois? please anyone who would like to attend contact me. i hope to see 200+ cars out on the show field at volo auto museum, most of them being G-bodies, so please clear your schedule, and fit it in where ya can. thanks.

With my intercooler and trans pan I have like 3 inches of ground clearance as it is

yes show field. as in packed gravel strips to drive down, and flat grass area , two cars wide - many cars long, to park on. again id like to know befoire hand who all i gonna be there, but if you dont know till last minute, and want to go, please join us. youll get in.

no problem. bring your friends and your family. the more people and cars we get. the longer people will stay, and walk around and take pictures. which is what i really want to see. plus i get to meet a lot of new people, and get to put faces to screen names.

currently he is the only ford registered. but i know some 32 fords and such will show up later. he is not the only non g-body participant in the show, so bring him along.
