Free car show for Illinois/Wisconsin members

not as many as i hoped for. right now i have about 50 registered, and 4-5 are not g-bodies, the rest are. volo gave me a figure of 100-200 they expect, because they have handed out flyers, and so have i, fo the past 5 months. we will see. if all else fails it will be like having a private party, with a live band.

Do you have any idea how far away this place is from Glendale Heights? I'll be up there that day for UTI's open house, and i might swing by if it's not too far away. I had a buick for a month or two till she broke, now i'v got a T-bird SC that i'm trying to sell so i can get another TR. I'd be really interested in seeing some hard core modded buicks since i'v only seen about 3-4 in person, including the one i owned.

Topfuel - as of NOW, yes, I still plan on going.
Having 5 kids and knowing how unpredictable Illinois weather is, who knows. I'm planning on it, unfortunately, positivly planning ahead is impossible.
BUT, as of now I am planning on going.
Taking my car to the track on Friday for an intense tuning session, let's hope I don't blow it up!

I am coming into town to visit friends and family this whole week 8-14 thru 8-24 and plan to stop by and check out the cars even though i won't have mine because obviously it will be here in Florida. It is also in the body shop from getting hit by a car. Who knows maybe I know some of you guys I originally bought my GN at Volo over 3 years ago. Well hope to see some there!

Dom, my car decided to piss coolant all over tonight. Not sure where it's coming from. I'm not sure if I'll have it fixed by saturday. I'll still be there, but probably not in the Buick.
