fresh rebuild no good

I just got done install a rebuild a guy at work did for me. it is a czf trans and i installed the other pressure switch. it does not have a shift kit just a basic rebuild.

When i put it in reverse it doesn't move or jerk i have to give in some gas for it to move. When i am driving it shift about 4500 rpm and it kind of slips into gear and i don't think it is getting pasted second gear cause i can't feel it shift. if i floor it it will don't shift at all.
and i adjusted the tv cable

Sounds like the pump valves may be in backwards,If you are gonna take them out and sheck them replace both of them with bigger ones

There is a TV boost valve,and a 1-2 reverse boost valve.
CK has them as well as PTS
But they must be installed correctly.

he dropped the valve body and said everything looked fine. he said there was probley not enough oil in the trans
