front brake pads

I am about to put new pads on the car and my two choices are carbon or seim-mat. which are the better ones. I have headed some thing about the seim-mat, that they hurt the rotors, but I dont know.

I think more people are going to the Performance friction carbon metallic pads then the stock replacements. I put them on mine when I upgraded to the 12 inch front rotors.

I just updated to ceramic from NAPA. Can't fid a GOOD rotor so I'm updating again to 12".
