I installing a TT V8 in my TR . I want to detail frame and redo suspension , install IC , wiring , fuel system , etc . and figured removing front chip would make the whole install go alot easier . how difficult is it to dismantle and reassemble front clip ? should I take the whole clip off at once or I pull it off one section at a time ? Thanks

I would take the hood off, and then the whole clip one piece...be careful with your fillers and grille, might want to take those off before the clip comes off also keep note of shims (where they are and how many)

I was thinking the same thing . only problem is I wanted to drop in engine/trans and need the rad support on the frame to mount IC and do the piping . and then put everything back on . I dropped into a body shop today , and owner said I maybe better off doing it section by section .he said take your time , take lots of pics , measurements . I'm just a little worried because it's a low mileage TR and the gaps and fit up on this car are REAL nice right now .
