Anyone know of what front coils are being used on the V8 conversions on the GNs. Getting ready to have all the stuff delivered, and thought Id check to see what the thoughts are of those who have gone thru this.
Thanks for all your help and info.

Anyone,,I know the 5996 is use for the front and drag racing and fast weight transfer. But I just need one for majority of street driving. Thanks really if someone can tell me,,

Thanks driven87, was there a part number that came with those, or can I just look up moroso trick springs,,thanks for helping here.

I used the original turbo Buick front springs on my two V8 conversions. The last one was a 6.0L with a turbo. It did drop the front end approx 3/4" over the original V6. I did use a few lightweight components to lighten the front end weight when I installed the V8. The alum heads, lightweight bumper support, and lightweight bumper brackets helped to lighten the front end some.

I used the stock V6 springs in mine also. IMO the ride height was just right. I wanted it lower anyway.
