My 1994 4WD K1500 Blazer (160K miles) has gradually started to feel "loose" on the front end, especially going over potholes, rough asphalt, etc.
I did install new KYB shocks last year, which helped, but truck isn't "tight" as it used be.
As I intend to keep it, I'm thinking to have the front suspension rebuilt at a shop.
Besides the bushings on lower and upper A-Arms, what other parts should be replaced or serviced on a "proper" front end rebuild for these vehicles??
(so I can get "apples vs apples" quotes).
Anyone want to hazard a guess as to $$ ? I'm sure it would be north of $1000 but hopefully under $2K.
Do you all think I be more likely to find knowledgeable & competent mechanics at the GM dealer or at the local "4 Wheel Parts Wholesalers" outlet?
TIA
