This is not Buick related.....

How badly can an intercooler's efficiency be hurt by mounting it in front of the radiator, but behind the A/C condensor? (sandwiched)
 
Providing the AC isn't running it probably won't hurt cooling to bad, but with the AC on its going to heat soak the intercooler. Airflow is obviously going to be effected though. What kind of car are we dealing with?
 
I don't know a lot about it. It's the one on my Lincoln. Everything is so tight and enclosed, I can't get to it to measure it, but appears to be about 2.5" thick, is a very large core sitting just in front of the radiator, and has the A/C condenser in front of it. Don't know a lot about the condenser that's not very large, however works very well.
