front springs question

i was sent a set of 5660 moog springs instead of the 5658 which I ordered, my question is has anybody used these springs they are for fbody or s-10? I see they have a higher spring rate but not sure if they will lower the car, was thinking maybe cut 1/2 coil to lower it but then ride may be too stiff? OR Should i just send them back?
if anybody have used these springs in own car please let me know the out come and how much if any lowered the car. thanks

Send them back and get the 5658's. The 5660's will raise the car quite a bit.

I'm pleased with these springs. Even with the bilsteins the front takes bumps well. Doesn't sit too low, doesn't sit too high. You can still get a jack under the front too which I REALLY liked about them

I installed 5660 on mine about 7 years ago.

Measurement from the ground to the peak arch of the wheel well trim:
uncut = 27" front ended up higher than the rear which looked bad

cut off 1/2 coil = 25-1/4" nice look but too much rubbing over bumps so I cut another 5660

cut appx 3/8 coil (exact measurement was 6.25" circumference) = 25-3/4 perfect for looks and ride quality in my opinion.
