Fuel canister check valve

I suspect my check valve is in backwards. the vacuum line going to the fuel vapor canister. Should the check valve be allowing only vacuum or only boost?

only vacuum. The check valves job is to keep boost in the engine (and not pressurize the outside stuff).
 
You want the white side of the check valve to point toward the canister (away from the boost source)

Perhaps - but not too likely.
It might explain fuel wetness under the canister's filter or such
For if it was reversed, all it would do is allow the canister to be pressurized under boost, and under vacuum, no sucky - i.e. none of the routine fuel vapors to be sucked into the intake.
Maybe - since BL's can get affected by all sorts of things - but my mind says no.
